Education Abroad
Stritch’s International Education office is dedicated to helping Stritch students learn about and experience diverse world cultures. Our office provides international student services including federal immigration information; financial, logistical, and social support; and cultural acclimation for international students arriving from abroad.

Our office also organizes and supports education abroad opportunities for students to study and serve in many countries. These opportunities include semester abroad programs, academic intensive (short-term) programs, international service immersion programs and teach abroad programs.

Semester Abroad
Stritch offers many exciting and affordable education abroad opportunities. Stritch semester abroad programs are usually offered at the same tuition rate as normal Stritch programs on campus. Overseas accommodation and meal costs are also similar. Our goal is to make a semester abroad an affordable option for you.

Stritch students may participate in our education abroad exchange programs at two universities in England, as well as in Norway, South Korea and Taiwan. Partner universities are chosen for their academic excellence, curriculum, and safe, charming settings:

Lancaster, England: St. Martin’s College
Chester, England: Chester College
Halden, Østfold University College
Seoul, South Korea: Catholic University of Korea
Taipei, Taiwan: Fu Jen Catholic University

Stritch students also have access to education abroad programs offered through our WAICU consortium partners, with Cultural Experiences Abroad and a variety of other direct enrollment programs.

Academic Intensive (Short-Term) Programs Abroad
Fulfill a lifetime dream and gain academic credit by participating in a short-term academic program abroad that takes place during the winter, spring or summer break periods. Stritch students register for a course with an education abroad component and travel with professors abroad for one to four weeks.

International Service Immersion Programs
Each year, Stritch offers at least one international service immersion program. These exciting adventures have a fundraising component, which helps keeps costs to a minimum. Students have the opportunity to learn about local culture while helping those in need. There is also an academic service learning option, which allows students to earn academic credit.
