Integrated Leadership

Overview
The Integrated Leadership Program (INLS) is designed to complement a students major and to enhance understanding of leadership in the context of that major.
The program seeks to engage students in the active pursuit of effective leadership knowledge, skills, and dispositions.

The program consists of two major components distributed across four years of undergraduate study:
1. Foundation leadership courses (required for Certificate and Minor)
2. Experiential practica (required for Minor only)
Students may chose from one of the following two options:
- Integrated Leadership Certificate (12 credits)
- Integrated Leadership Minor (21-24 credits)

Minor Requirements
To obtain a minor in Integrated Leadership, students must complete the following classes:
Foundation Leadership courses
- INLS 101: Introduction to Leadership (3 credits)
- INLS 201: Personal Leadership Formation (3 credits)
- INLS 301: Organizational Leadership (3 credits)
- INLS 321: Franciscan Leadership (3 credits)
Elective courses
An approved leadership-based course in any department (3 credits)
- Leadership Senior Seminar (3 credits)
- Experiential Practicum (2 credits)
- Leadership Internship (2 credits)
- Engagement and Participation in Leadership Learning Community meetings

Certificate Requirements
To obtain a certificate in Integrated Leadership, students must complete the following classes:
Foundation Leadership courses

- INLS 301: Organizational Leadership (3 credits)
- INLS 321: Franciscan Leadership (3 credits)
