New Student Orientation

8:30-9 a.m.: Registration/Check in -- Enjoy a complimentary breakfast, receive a student ID, register your car for parking, visit the Bookstore, and meet other incoming Stritch students.
9-9:15 a.m.: Opening Welcome -- Receive a warm Stritch welcome from University administrators and a current Stritch student.
9:15-9:45 a.m.: Departmental Browsing -- Meet staff and faculty from a variety of campus departments to talk about opportunities and services available to you. Pick up information on all of the campus services and resources that are here for you at Stritch.
9:45-10:30 a.m.: Interest Sessions (Choose 1)
- Traditional Age Student Session -- Students between the ages of 18-23 who are transferring directly from another institution or starting college for the first time will benefit from this session. You will hear from current students who transferred to Stritch or started school mid-year. Learn tips on how to make a successful transition to campus.
- Non-Traditional Student Session -- This session is designed for students who are returning to school after a prolonged break and/or are older than the traditional-age college student. This session will ease your mind about starting school as we discuss your unique transitional experiences and academic needs. You will be provided with tips on how to be a successful Stritch student while balancing your multiple life roles.
10:30-11:30 a.m.: Financial Aid & Faculty Panels (select the appropriate session based on your intended major)
10:30-11 a.m.:
- Financial Aid & Business Office Information Session for NURSING STUDENTS ONLY
- Faculty Sessions for non-nursing majors
11-11:30 a.m.:
- Financial Aid & Business Office Information Session for NON-Nursing Students
- Faculty Session for NURSING STUDENTS ONLY
11:30 a.m.-noon: Campus Tours
