Visual and Performing Arts

Opportunities for all students to get involved

Stritch's School of Visual and Performing Arts works hard at keeping the campus and local communities entertained. With theater productions, music performances and art gallery shows held year-round, you’ll have many opportunities to get in touch with the arts. Even if you’re not majoring in one of our fine arts programs, you’re still able to take an art class, audition for theater productions and musicals, and showcase your musical talents in the University Concert Choir or Chamber Orchestra. In fact, many of our performers are non-majors who simply have a passion for the arts.

In this section, you can learn more about all of your opportunities to get involved in the arts at Stritch, whether you are an incoming freshman, transfer student or international student. You will also find out more about the Joan Steele Stein Center for Communication Studies/Fine Arts, which is home to all of the fine and performing arts programs on campus.

When you’re ready to take the next step and talk to an admissions counselor, come to campus and check out the Joan Steele Stein Center for yourself, or even apply for admission, just click on the ContactVisit, or Apply links and we’ll get you started!
