Cardinal Stritch University Scholarships
Honors Scholarship
Four-year, full tuition scholarship awarded to up to four incoming freshmen. To be eligible,
students must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale) and a minimum ACT score of 26 or SAT of 1180.
Eligible students who have been admitted to the University will compete for the Honors Scholarship
by attending a competition held on Feb. 2, 2008.
Departmental Scholarship
Four-year scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $9,400 per year awarded in each of Stritch’s 27 majors.
To be eligible, students must meet the academic department’s requirements and meet the University’s
admission requirements. Eligible students can apply for the departmental scholarship by completing a
Departmental Scholarship application and attending the Departmental Scholarship Competition on Jan. 25
or Jan. 26 for education students.

School of Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship
Four-year scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $9,400 per year awarded to students majoring in the fine
arts. To be eligible, students must meet the department’s requirements and meet the University’s
admission requirements. Eligible students can apply for the School of Visual and Performing Arts scholarship by
completing a Departmental Scholarship application and arranging an audition with faculty.
Franciscan Heritage Scholarship
Four-year scholarship for up to $10,000 per year. Recognizes incoming freshmen for their academic
performance in high school. To be eligible, students must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale) and
a minimum ACT score of 20 or SAT of 940.
Lilly Religious Scholars Vocation Program (RSVP) Scholarship
Designed to reward incoming freshmen who have demonstrated exceptional Christian leadership in a church, parish or
religiously related organization through active participation in youth activities and service. Scholarship amount is
$15,200 for the first year, and will be renewed yearly at a similar amount. Eligible students must complete the Lilly
RSVP Scholarship application, interview with the Office of Vocation Development, and must also major or minor in

Transfer Scholarships – Serra & St. Bonaventure
Awarded to incoming transfer students who have attempted at least 12 credits at another institution.
To be eligible, students must have a minimum 2.5 (4.0 scale) cumulative transfer GPA. Scholarship amount ranges
from $3,200 to $7,000 per year and is awarded upon acceptance to the University.
Flahive Athletic Scholarship
Awarded to select incoming freshmen and transfer students competing in one of the University’s 10 intercollegiate sports.
Eligibility and scholarship amount is determined by the respective coach.
Music Performance Scholarship
Four-year, $1,000 scholarship awarded to incoming freshmen and transfer non-music majors who demonstrate an
ability in music. Eligibility is determined by an audition with the Music Department Chair.
Legacy Scholarship
Four-year, $1,500 scholarship awarded to incoming freshmen who have an immediate family member who graduated
from or currently attends Cardinal Stritch University.
Timothy M. Dolan Scholarship
Four-year, $1,750 scholarship awarded to incoming freshmen who are graduating from an Archdiocese of Milwaukee High School.
