Stritch, Wisconsin and Federal Grant Programs
Grants are offered to students who demonstrate financial need, as determined by information gathered on the FAFSA. Grants do not require repayment.
Federal Pell Grant
Awarded to undergraduate students who have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree and who demonstrate financial need.
Eligibility and grant amount is determined by the student’s financial need. Grants range from $400 to $4,050 per year.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
Awarded to undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional financial need. Eligibility and grant amount is
determined by the student’s financial need. Grants vary yearly.
Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)
A two-year federal grant awarded to Pell Grant recipients who have successfully completed a rigorous high school
program and plan to enroll full time. To be eligible for the second year, students must maintain a 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale)
during the first year of the grant. Grant amount is $750 for year one and $1,300 for year two.
Wisconsin Tuition Grant
Awarded to undergraduate Wisconsin residents who have not earned a bachelor’s degree and plan to enroll at least
half time. Eligibility and grant amount is determined by the student’s financial need. Grants range from $500
to $2,900 per year.
Cardinal Stritch University Grant
Awarded to full-time undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. Eligibility and grant amount is determined
by the student’s financial need.
Cardinal Stritch University Military Grant
Awarded to full-time undergraduate students who are in active duty or can prove military service, or who are a spouse
of an individual in active duty. Eligible students can receive up to a 25% tuition discount.
Cardinal Stritch University International Student Grant
Awarded to students from another country. Eligibility and grant amount is determined by the student’s financial
need for direct expenses.
